Stavis & Cohen Financial is excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Financial Planner interested in joining one of the fastest growing independent financial advisory service firms in the nation.

The Financial Planner will be responsible for assisting experienced advisors design, prepare and implement customized financial plans for high-net worth client families. An ideal candidate will be well-versed in current financial planning techniques and technologies. This is an outstanding opportunity for a hard working self-starter, who appreciates working independently, but enjoys being a member of a highly experienced financial planning team.

The Financial Planner will work directly for and support the Director of Advisory Services as well as support other experienced Advisors.
• Primary Responsibilities:
o Responding to client needs on a daily basis
o Advancing the financial planning process for client families, including:
? Data collection
? Proposal preparation
? Financial plan preparation
? Executing client strategies resulting from the financial plan delivery, including coordination of:
• Investments
• Insurance
• Estate planning needs
• Other Responsibilities include:
o Identifying new business opportunities embedded in the existing client base
o Preparing for quarterly client investment review meetings
o Providing assistance to other team members

Job Requirements


Education, training, experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business-related field; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience;

Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook;

Demonstrate experience interfacing and collaborating with clients, peers, management and others;

Demonstrate ability to take initiative on, and manage, multiple projects;

Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate financial information verbally and in writing.

Preferences:

Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation
At least two years experience in the financial services industry
Series 7 and 66 licenses
Proficient with eMoney, Financeware, and Stockopter software packages
